So folks, after some hard work over the last few months we're now close to our summer break. The reason we're taking this break? Didn't you hear? Geoff is getting married this Saturday. He's then off on honeymoon for several weeks. Coincidently JD is also then away for 3 weeks. We can't confirm or deny where JD is going for 2 reasons. 1: Its a secret and 2: we don't want to spoil the surprise when Geoff opens his suitcase on honeymoon. So over the last couple of months we've played at a new venue in Basingstoke called the Pure Lounge which we've now played at twice! It's a great venue and we're delighted to have been asked to play there. We've also played at Richard and Cheryl's wedding which was a great evening and a tremendous honour. As you can see from the photo Geoff was quite literally on fire that night. We've also returned to some of our favourite venues: O'Neil's in High Wycombe and the always fabulous Mr Bumbles. JD had a death and then a resurrection in the family when his amp was unfortunately destroyed by an errant Cola drink but it was beautifully repaired by Marcus at Sound Engineering. Richard has recently moved his shop to a new location in Maidenhead and I recommend, nay demand you pop down there and see him. The details are at this link so there's no excuse. We're also looking at expanding our repertoire so any recommendations (serious ones only please) are always welcome. Anyway, good luck to Geoff and Mrs Geoff and good luck to JD in holding his breath long enough to survive the long journey in Geoff luggage. I've said too much.
This photo should tell you what kind of night JD's Birthday was. We went to Charley's Horse (Ash was absent due to a sore throat) and had a few cocktails and the aim was the camper the better. Good food and a good time was had by all. Pics will be posted in the gallery soon.
"But enough of your high jinks Squire TNA pray tell when are you next playing?" I hear you cry. Ohh, it's just you crying. Well cheer up because we're back playing very soon. Next gig is at the Fabulous Rising Sun in Slough on Friday 1st June and we're starting at 10 so could be a late one. If you can't make that we're playing the very next day at our home ground. Yes, The Beehive in Bedfont in on the Saturday 2nd from 9. We are also playing for a private street party on Jubilee Sunday. Should be a good gig if the weather holds but all the members of TNA are rather pale so we will be wearing our Factor 50 for some fun in the sun hopefully. Well Folks, for our first blog we start with first, a hello. To you all. And to say welcome to anyone who wishes to or has the misfortune to stumble across our path. Tonight we start with a celebration for we are going out for JD's birthday. Due to other commitments we not able to celebrate the actual day with him next week and his clan so we're off out tonight, as a band (with wags) to celebrate at Charley's Horse in Windsor. I suspect the competition for campest cocktail to be fierce. We will of course post some photos in the gallery section. Also for those of you with the TNA app. It will shortly be available on Google Play and the TNA game will still happen. I have today taken the long road to learning how to put it together, although it may take some time, but I will prevail.
